Daniel Facundo Blanco, age 78, passed away on Wednesday, August 23, 2023, in San Antonio, Texas.Daniel was born on December 21, 1944, in San Antonio, Texas to parents Candelario and Teresa Blanco. SGT Daniel Blanco was a Vietnam veteran, as part of the first Calvary Division (Airmobile) deserving the honors and respect afforded for all members of the First Team whose courageous deeds and sacrifices have preserved the liberty, achieving numerous awards. Daniel was a master plumber. Daniel is survived by his loving wife, Antelma Blanco; sons, Joseph, and Raquel Blanco; and stepdaughters, Asalia and Antelma Leal. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Thursday, September 7, 2023, at Porter Loring Mortuary.
