He is survived by his mother, Sharon McCord Hills; father, Daniel R. Dooley Sr.; grandparents, Carolyn and Truman McCord, and Walter and Kathy Dooley; great grandmother, Ruby Amiden; sister, Karli Hills; brother, Sean McConchie; daughter, Ashlynn Owen, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Born in Corpus Christi, Texas, "D.J." lived with his maternal grandparents in Weatherford, Texas, and played football at Weatherford High School.
After the family moved to Bulverde, Texas he attended Smithson Valley High School.
Daniel was known for his happy smile and his love for life and others. He will be missed greatly.
