Daniel Dennis Saltarelli Sr., age, 85, passed away Sunday, October 9, 2011 at his home in San Antonio, Texas. He was born on February 1, 1926 in Roseta, PA to Salvatore & Rose Saltarelli. Survivors include his three children, Daniel Saltarelli Jr., Alan Saltarelli, and Rose Burkhalter; grandchildren, Kristin, Ashley, Dylan, Domenick, Daniel and Lisa. Visitation will take place from 5-9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral mass will be held at 12:00 p.m. Thursday, October 13, 2011 at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church with Rev. Msgr. Michael O’Gorman celebrant.
