Daniel Joseph White, age 78, passed away on Monday, October 31, 2011 in San Antonio. Above all things Daniel was a man of faith. One of his proudest accomplishments was his service to St. Mary's University as VP for Financial Administration for 20 memorable years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hugh and Mabel; sister, Linda; brother, John. Daniel is survived by his wife of 39 years, Claire G. White; daughter, Catherine L. Brigman, MD; daughter, Elizabeth A. Rothwell, CPA; daughter, Margaret M. Martinez, LSSP; son, Hugh D. White, II, MD; son, Alfred J. White, DDS; nine grandchildren and one on the way; sisters, Patricia and Margaret; brothers, Michael and Edward. The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. 7:00 P.M., Thursday, November 3, 2011 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.
