Dante Alonzo David

We are immensely saddened to announce that Dante Alonzo David passed away unexpectedly on July 30, 2023, at the age of 28, after a tragic car accident. Born in San Antonio, Texas to Susanna Longoria and Augustine David on August 29th, 1995, Dante was the baby of the family; being born last of his parents’ three sons, and last of the eight cousins in his generation of the family. He was the biggest character and had the most personality, even as a toddler. As a child, he would constantly sing and dance and shake his butt just to get a laugh from his grandparents, parents, aunts, and uncles. At a young age he became obsessed with music, and eventually taught himself to play every instrument he could get his hands on. Some of Dante’s favorite activities were making music, cooking, improving his home, training his dog, Jax, and exploring the world with his beautiful girlfriend, Miranda.

Our family was not expecting the loss of Dante or for his life to be cut so short, so soon. We are devastated by this loss and will feel the absence of Dante forever. He was the most loyal and loving soul and always a joy to be around. He was always full of life and never allowed anyone around him to not feel included, loved, and cared for. He will forever be missed.

Dante is predeceased by his grandparents, Pedro, Anatalia, and Damiano. He is survived by his grandmother, Dora; his parents, Susanna, Andrew, Augustine, and Vanessa; brothers, Kevin and Joshua; sisters, Brittany and Karen; sisters in law, Mariah and Sandy; nephews, Roman, Joshua, Marcus, and Kalel; niece, Anatalia; cousins, Pedro III, Eddie Jr, Desiree, Sergio, and Oscar; and his dog, Jax.
