David Randolph Bolling, III

David Randolph “Randy” Bolling III, age 60, passed away on Monday, June 17, 2024, in San Antonio, Texas. He was born on August 28, 1963, in Palacios, Texas, to parents, Becky and David Randolph Bolling, Jr. Randy lived a life filled with love, humor, and resilience. Whether attending services with his church family, reveling in the exploits of friends and family, befriending all those he met, or learning his computer voice with the love and guidance of follow up Mom, Carroll, he lived his life to the fullest.

Randy enjoyed listening and laughing with his so loved Aunt Helen (Bolling) and Uncle Kenny (Brandon), step-siblings Josh Riggs, Jesse Foster and Hannah vanderMerwe, little sister-friend Joann Deleon and her Jacob, special Sunday luncher Tom Parson and dearest big sister-friend Trish Thorton, and lifelong buddies Han Helmig and Lary Priour. Randy will be missed by people all over the world. Despite challenging circumstances, he remained a man of deep faith in the Christian teachings he so devoutly believed.

He was preceded in death by his mother Becky Brandon Bolling Osland and her husband Jim Osland. Randy is survived by his father David Randolph Bolling, Jr. and wife Carroll; his brother Ryan Bolling and wife Patrice, niece Peyton and nephew Jack; his sister Lia Bolling and nephew Brandon Griffith.

A memorial service will take place later this fall in Edna, Texas.
