Dave was a great guy who left us way too soon. A caring, inspiring, and supportive person at work and off. He will be missed. Our prayers are with Mimi and family.

James 1:12 is the verse that comes to mind when I think of David. "Blessed is the man who perseveres under trials. For having stood the test, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love him." David persevered and endured to the very end. Like our Lord, he was willing to take the full brunt of suffering to follow God's will. He took no shortcuts...even though others wanted him to. His eye was on the prize. The crown of life awaits him for he persevered and endured through the fiercest of trials. David was most like Christ when he was in the crucible of suffering. A man of sorrows and acquainted with grief...but now with everlasting joy in the presence of His Savior. He inspired me to persevere in the midst of difficulties, to fix my eyes on Christ who carried the cross for me. No doubt, David heard these words from our Lord face to face; "Well done good and faithful servant. You have been faithful in a few things; I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of our Lord." Matthew 25: 23. Our love and prayers are with you, Mimi and JD,  David's parents & sister, Tito Al, Tita Conching and cousins.

David was an employee in our bakery,The Village Kitchen, when he was in high school. He had an excellent work ethic and a great sense of humor. Prayers for Joan and Norman and David’s wife and son. He was taken far too soon. Janet Downing

I will never forgot how kind and welcoming Dave was to me when I joined the HQ PACAF/A1 family. He had a gift of making you feel special. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and hope peace finds their heart sooner than later. 💔

I met David in 2017, we hit it off instantly and became friends. I was honored to be called upon by David to serve as a Groomsman during His and Mimi’s wedding. 
What stuck me so deeply about David was his Character attributes. A man of faith, honor, integrity, commitment, love. A man true to his word, kind hearted, yet stood firm as a rock when needed. 
What an honor it is to call David, “Friend”.
You have fought the good fight, you have held the course to the very end of time on this earth. Now, rest easy my Friend. 
I rejoice in the unwavering knowledge you are now in heaven with or Lord and savior. 
I’ll see you on the other side when I too

David was a member of the McCullough HS choir when I was the director. He was a fine young man, student and singer. His long list of awards comes as no surprise. He  was a blessing to all. Mike Ware

Dave was an exceptional man. I just went back and reread a series of FB messages he sent me 6 months ago about navigating MD Anderson through our own journey. Although he was fighting his own battle he provided us comfort, words of encouragement and prayers.  Heaven has certainly gained an Angel. With sincere condolences. Jackie & Gene Pope
