David Michael Lee

Michael is survived by his beloved wife of forty years, Jacqueline Pendell Lee; his son, Jeffrey Michael Lee; his son, Jason Matthew Lee and wife Colleen Goree Lee; his daughter, Natasha Michael Lee Hollenbaugh and husband Joseph Hollenbaugh; and his grandchildren, Logan Alexandra Lee and Aiden Joseph Hollenbaugh. He is preceded in death by his father, David Maurice Lee; mother, Ann Earlene Notestein Lee; and sisters, Roxie Lee and Patricia Lee Mueller.

Michael was born on February 7, 1947 in South Bend, Indiana and grew up in southern California. He attended La Serna High School in Whittier, California; graduated with a bachelor's degree from Graceland College in Lamoni, Iowa; and attained his master's degree from Texas A&I in Kingsville, Texas. He truly enjoyed his teaching career, particularly at Jackson Middle School in San Antonio. His hobbies included golfing and playing softball with friends and watching all types of sports; notably college football and Indy car racing. Michael took immense pleasure in traveling and listening to all of his favorite music.

His family and close friends were the most important part of his life. He will be forever missed.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M., Saturday, December 15, 2018 at Porter Loring Mortuary North.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
