A great guy!  Dave was full of spirit and so easy to talk to about anything.  We lived across the street from each other in Hawaii.  Jogged in the mornings before work, barbecued together and took the families to the beach.  We corresponded on August 15th to arrange for a December visit to San Antonio.  Dave touched lives and will be missed for certain.  My prayers for his family.

My thoughts and prayers are with Dave's family!  He was a wonderful gentleman. Hold on to the memories and know that he was lives by so many!  God Bless you all!

I am  so sorry to hear about David.  I worked with him at AETC/JA.  He had  such an uplifting personality and was a joy to be around.  He will be greatly missed.  My condolences to his family.  May the Lord keep you all in the arms of His love.

I knew Dave, when he lived in Italy. He was one of kindest and sweetest person I have ever known. I'm so sad to hear that such a great guy is gone. He will be greatly missed and my condolences to the family.

David was my step-brother and we had been out of touch for many years. One day he reached out to me on Facebook and I am so grateful he did. I have many memories if Davey and my brother Kelly.  Kelly and I are so sad that David passed away, especially at such an early age. He will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

I was so saddened to hear of Dave's passing.  I enjoyed our time together at Dyess AFB and in the Pacific...Dave was one of the real good guys!  My thoughts and prayers are with you in this difficult time.

I am so sorry for your loss. Dave was always quick with a smile and as a fellow Husker we spent hours "coaching" the team together. He will be missed.

I enjoyed working with Dave at AETC/JA.  I could always count on him to make me laugh, as well as help me with whatever problem I was facing.  He was a great guy to have at the office.  My sympathies to his family on their loss.

I am shocked and saddened to hear Dave passed away.  I will always remember a trip Dave and I had to take in the back woods of South Carolina to interview witnesses for a court-martial in Texas back in 1998.  He "entertained" me by telling all about the movie Deliverance while we drove for hours on 2-lane roads in South Carolina, looking for some little town.  I have always been grateful I had him there to cover my back and to tell me funny stories along the way.  My heart goes out to the Light family.  I am sorry for your loss.  He was a great guy who will be missed!

My sincere condolences and prayers go out to during this difficult time.  I first met David in 1993 and continually remained in touch through the years.  He never wavered as a friend and confidant.  He always went the extra mile for everyone and his loss will be felt for years to come.

I am the oldest living Light cousins and David was the youngest.  I didn't know David well, but, will always remember our times together.  I feel much sadness that David had to leave us so soon.
