David Bradley Nichols, age 44, passed away on Monday, September 14, 2015. David had a passionate heart for animals. He could usually be found playing fetch or tug of war with his dogs. As a youngster and even as an adult, he adopted any stray animal that wandered through the yard. His love for animals is only exceeded by his ability to relate to and entertain children.
At family dinners, when the children disappeared, they could usually be found with David reading them a book or playing games with them. He was a dedicated father, spending most of his evenings and weekends with his son. He was a volunteer soccer coach for his son's soccer team for six years.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Jan Nichols, and brother, Craig Nichols.
He is survived by his son, Aaron James Nichols, his brother, Matthew Nichols and wife Kayla and children, Cason and Kinsley, and his father, William Nichols.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 17, 2015, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Porter Loring Mortuary North.
