'Dave and I grew up on the same street back in Centreville, DE. He was a great friend and a lot of fun to hang with. He fought his disease with grace and dignity, which should serve an inspiration to all on how to life our lives. It speaks to the man he was. My thoughts and prayers to his mom and dad, his children, and companion. He was taken from us too soon.'
