He attended Churchill High School and graduated from Trinity University with a degree in Engineering. He was a member of Omega Phi Fraternity. David was the EBO Technical Manager for USAA. He was the founding member of the Brotherhood of Pork, a group of wild boar hunters, and a member of the Hill Country Harley Davidson group.
David was preceded in death by his father, David E. Tomkewitz. He is survived by his mother, Marie F. Tomkewitz; wife, Loriann A. Tomkewitz; two sons, Christopher and Austin; sister, Marie A. Tomkewitz; his biological father, Michael Whitwell and his family; and numerous other family members.
David lived his life to the fullest and Heaven will never be the same.
