

David Blane Williamson, age 64, passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2012 in San Antonio. He was born on January 31, 1947 in Fort Worth, Texas, to Joseph Earl and Marie Eakin Williamson. Blane graduated from Burleson High School in 1965 and served in the United States Air Force from 1966 to 1970. He was an independent Farmers Insurance Agent for more than 40 years in San Antonio. Blane was a member of the American Legion for many years. He was preceded in death by his mother, Marie Eakin. Blane is survived by his father, Joe Williamson of Marble Falls, TX; wife, Vesta M. (Houle) Williamson of San Antonio, TX; sister, Toni Blevins of Haltom City, TX; four daughters, Tammy (Park) McClung of Cottage Grove, OR, Lisa (Robert) Paulk of Austin, TX, Heather (Ernie) Wheeler of Reading, PA, Holly Williamson of San Antonio, TX; two stepchildren, Virgil (Jessica) Norris of Etowah, TN, Andrea (Nick) Delgado of San Antonio, TX; one nephew, Bill (Melissa) Blevins; two great-nephews; one great-niece; thirteen grandchildren; and numerous additional family members, friends, and business associates. The family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on Friday, January 20, 2012 at Porter Loring Mortuary North.
