Delia Josephine Galvan born on April 7, 1935 in San Antonio, TX went to be with the Lord on August 2, 2017. She is preceded in death by her parents Angel Alcantara and Dora Lopez. She is survived by her children Patricia Christine Galvan & Linda Hernandez (Oscar); granddaughter Briana Gonzales; cousins Gloria Puchot, Yolanda Escobedo, George Mota, Henry Mota, Richard & Robert Mota; numerous younger cousins who called her Aunt Delia. Delia worked for Tobin Surveyors for a number of years as a map drafter. She loved her family and often cared for her cousin's children, but she adored her beloved granddaughter Briana, who took care of Delia in her final days. She will be truly missed by family and friends. A visitation will be on Tuesday August 8, 2017 at 5:00 pm with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm at Trevino Funeral home on 226 Cupples Rd. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home at 9:30 am for a mass at St. John Berchman’s at 10:00 am. Interment to follow at San Fernando II Cemetery.
