Denise Ann Elmore

Denise Ann Monica Teives Elmore, born October 5, 1954, in New Albany, Indiana, to Robert Louis Teives and Patricia Jeanne Braesicke, passed away July 26, 2009. She is survived by her husband, Dennis Elmore, of 33 years whom she met in college, and son, Raymond Geoffrey Elmore MD. She is also survived by her mother, Patricia Teives; sister Cynthia Lee Davidson, and husband William of San Diego, CA.; mother-in-law Sarah J. Elmore; brother-in-law Gerald Elmore and wife, Pat; aunt Mattie Davis; aunt Edith Baird; aunt Jackie & her uncle Don Fortenberry. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Teives; her sisters, Vicki Lynn Zinsitz, and Melinda Kay Berger. She was a guardian angel and surrogate mother to many and a loving aunt to nieces and nephews, Denise Elmore Crigler and husband Michael, Jennifer Moore and husband Jason, Nina A. Bubel and husband Steve, Robert B. Beseth and wife Regina, Donnie Elmore, Diane Elmore Cheslock and husband Nathan, Ryan Berger, and Jeremy Berger. She was a doting great-aunt to Hannah Beseth, Hunter Beseth, Julia Moore, Jackson C. Bubel, Emma Crigler, Aidan Beseth, Alexandra Davis Bubel, and Arden Crigler. She was an active member of Junior Forum, the Assistance League, and Meals on Wheels. She also attended St. Mary's University and St. Phillip's College where she took classes in interior design and gourmet cooking, two of her great joys.
