He married Susan Hovey on September 9, 1970. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather and was loved and respected by everyone with whom he came in contact. He will always be in our hearts and minds and will be sorely missed for all the joy he brought into our lives. He earned a business degree from Auburn University and worked as a Senior Purchasing Manager for CH Guenther and Sons.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Dennis is survived by his wife Susan; his two daughters Chantel Deichert and Courtney Poe; son-in-law Will Deichert; grandchildren Evan and Ellen; his sister and brother, as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
Family will be celebrating Dennis's life with a private memorial.
