Robert A. Salvatierra, age 51, passed away on Thursday, September 10, 2015 in San Antonio. He was born on June 30, 1964 in San Antonio, Texas. Robert was a beloved husband, father, son, brother and uncle. He was a Detective with the San Antonio Police Department with 24 years of service. Robert was an avid golfer and lived life to the fullest "his way". He was very approachable, quick witted and had an incredible sense of humor. His smile was a comfort to everyone he encountered. Robert is lovingly remembered by his wife Angela Salvatierra; children, Robert "Alec" Salvatierra and Amanda "Peanut" Salvatierra; mother, Elizabeth Salvatierra; brother, Randy Salvatierra; and sister, Dawn Sanchez (Rick). Services will be held Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at 7:00 P.M. and Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. at Cornerstone Church, 18755 Stone Oak Pkwy, San Antonio, TX 78258.
