

Diane graduated from Edison High School in 1974. She was a Honey Bear and also in the choir. Diane worked at HEB warehouse in several positions and made numerous friends and remembered them all, she retired from HEB after 34 years of loyal service and was able to care and spend time with the loves of her life Adrian and Eli. After retirement she took a road trip with her mom before they were overcome with their illness. She enjoyed traveling, with trips to Hawaii, New York and Las Vegas, as well as little trips to Eagle Pass to play the slots. Diane loved all the old Black and White movies and could name all the stars of the era.
She is survived by her daughter Deborah and her grandsons Adrian and Eli Duarte. Brothers David and Roy (Janet) Silva. Stepsisters Pauline Garcia and Sally Anderson. Aunt Alice Saenz, Aunt Consuelo and Lee Reyna, Uncle Alfred and Aunt Margie Cazares, also nieces and nephews, numerous cousins and friends. Thanks to her special sisters that she loved very much Julie, Belinda and Yolanda for taking care of her through her illness as well as her brothers, daughter, Aunts and all the Medical staff.
Visitation will be held at 5:00p.m. to.9:00p.m. Tuesday, April 26, 2016 and Rosary at 7:00p.m. at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Road. The Funeral procession will depart from the Funeral Home at 9:30 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of the Resurrection at Christ the King Catholic Church. Interment will follow in San Fernando Cemetery II.
