Dolores Earline "Lynne" Clark, age 84, made her peaceful passage on February 17, 2008. She was born April 2, 1923 to Earl and Moselle Horton in Dallas, TX.
Lynne was a graduate of Sunset High School in Dallas, TX and NTAC now Arlington State. A native Texan, her ancestors were Peter's Colony pioneers in Dallas, TX and early Republic of Texas pioneers.
She married Raymond Eugene Niblo of Dallas in 1941. They later divorced. She married Delbert M. Clark in 1947 in Dallas, TX.
Lynne was a treasure of love, beauty, humor and history. She was known for her laughter, her generous spirit, her sparkle and her wink.
She is survived by two daughters; Susanna and Rick Smith, Fruita, CO and Dawn and Rob Zanfardino, Hopewell Junction, NY; a sister-in-law Eldora McBee, Barton, MD; a brother-in-law Glynne and Betty Clark, Westernport, MD; a cousin Mary Francis and Elmer Westfall, Richardson, TX; six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; one great great grandson and many beloved nieces, nephews and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Delbert; her two sons, Tom and Vaun; her sister and brother-in-law, Estelle and Billy Dea Blakley.
She will be missed greatly by those who knew and loved her.
