Dolores A. Gomez

Dolores Avila Gomez passed away on August 9, 2020 at the age of 84. Born in San Antonio, Texas on March 30, 1936, she is preceded in death by her parents, Daniel and Jesusita Avila, and her brothers Richard Avila, Pablo Avila, Armando Avila, and Daniel Avila.

Dolores is survived by her beloved husband, Guadalupe Gomez, her children, Susan Gomez, Roger Gomez, Edward Gomez, Elizabeth Gonzalez and James Gomez, and her grandchildren, Guadalupe Roger Gomez, James Daniel Gomez, Edward Anthony Gomez, Daniel Vecera, Isabel Ann Gonzalez, Edward James Gomez, Alexander Joseph Gomez, William Anthony Gomez, Jasmin Nichole Gomez, and Makayla Sarai Gomez. She is also survived by her great grandchildren, Liam Alexander Gomez, Aiden Joseph Gomez, and Noah Anthony Gomez. She is also survived by her sisters, Beatrice Avila and Guadalupe Esqueda: and her extended family and friends who loved her.

Due to restrictions on public gatherings, the Visitation at Funeraria del Angel Trevino – 226 Cupples Road 78237- will be limited to only 50 people in the building. Face coverings are required to be worn at all times.

The family will be receiving friends on Tuesday, September 8, 2020 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with a Celebration of Life to begin at 7:00 PM. The Burial will be at San Fernando Cemetery III, Lot 19 – 1735 Cupples Road 78226. Family and guests will meet at San Fernando Cemetery III, Lot 19 at 9:00 AM on Wednesday, September 9, 2020 for the Burial.
