He was born in Lakeview, Ohio on June 6, 1941 to Lester and Blanche Leininger. He is survived by his wife, Sandra; sister, Phyllis; sons, Corbin and Alan Jay; daughter, Catherine; grandson, James; granddaughters, Jessica and Melanie; and great grandchildren, Luke and Emma.
Don and Sandy were married on December 30, 1960 and lived happily for 62 years.
He enjoyed being with family, fishing, and hunting. Don was an active member of Hill Country Christian Church.
