Doris Elkins Gallaway, age 76, born October 1, 1925, of San Antonio, has gone to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 29, 2001. Her husband, Walter Gallaway, preceded her in death. She is survived by her daughter, Ruth Cook and husband Buddy of Memphis, TX; son, Ronny Worley and wife Shelia; daughter, Dorothy Dowda Elkins; sons, Wayne Elkins and Dennis Elkins, all of San Antonio; 9 grandchildren, Glenda, Bruce, Felicia, Sheryl, Tammy, Brenda, Stacey, Sandra, and Desiree; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and sister, Betty Kinsey and husband Bobby of Bastrop, TX. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 3:30 to 5:30 P. M. at Porter Loring Mortuary North.
