Doris was one of the sweetest young girls we knew. With my health, I can't come to the funeral but Adrian & I have already been praying for Doris and all of you and will continue to do so. Remember that we are with you in spirit and if you need anything, call.

Doris, you fought a long, hard battle. As said in Matthew 11:28, Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy laden, and I will give you rest. May you rest in peace with the Lord. You will be missed dearly by your family and friends, and we pray that your family may find comfort in knowing that there is a new guardian angel looking down upon them. We were all blessed to have known you. We will miss you.

I was fortunate to have crossed paths with Doris not once, but twice: first at USAA and then at SWBC. I'm proud to be able to call her a friend and colleague. I know where ever Doris is right now, she is at peace. I also know that our world has one less good person. My thoughts and prayers are with you Lynn, Allison and Amy, for the loss of your beautiful Wife and Mom.

The last time I saw Doris was last Fall at our 30-yr high school reunion. Though she revealed that the cancer was back, she was the "life of the party" On behalf of the class of 1980 from KCHS, we will miss you but will always have fond memories of the many good times we had together!
