

She was a member of John Calvin Presbyterian Church and served as an elder for many years. Doris was a lifelong registered nurse, serving in a number of different capacities. She tested future nurses for the state and most recently served as a parish nurse.
Doris was a very spiritual and strong willed person. She enjoyed hobbies such as going to the theater, shopping, and getting her hair done. Doris spoiled all of those around her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Gertrude; her husband of 62 years, John M. Raney and two brothers, Robert and Larry Frazier.
Doris is survived by her daughter, Kathleen Frazier of San Antonio, TX; son, Mark A. Raney and wife, Dana of Gilroy, TX; daughter, Cheryl B. Martinez and husband, Lou of The Woodlands, TX. She was Nana to grandchildren, April Mena and husband Doug Mena, Olivia Wade, Christopher Frazier, Benjamin, Joshua, Rebecca and Samuel Raney, Kelly and Jonathan Martinez; great-grandchildren, Lexie and Sadie Mena; brother, Bruce Frazier, M.D. and wife, Charlie of Templeton, CA and many dear friends that were with her until the end.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 21, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Porter Loring on McCullough Ave.
