

Dorothy C. Wilson-Hatcher went to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 23, 2012. Dorothy was born to the late Robert and Nettie Kallmeyer in Coldwater, OH, on February 12, 1930 and had resided in San Antonio, TX since August of 1991.She was a member of Castle Hills First Baptist Church, The Encouragers Sunday School Class and was a 25 year member of Prospect Hill Chapter 817 of the Eastern Star. Her hobbies included sewing, reading, Ballroom dancing and playing the piano. In June 1947 Dorothy married Arthur Penner and from this union four children were born. She was married to Lewis Wilson from 1981 until his death in 1990. In 1995 she married Bill Hatcher and traveled extensively in the United States and abroad. She was outgoing, warm, friendly and always had a smile on her face. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Jacqueline Safier. She is survived by her children, Linda Donley of Clarksburg, MD, Art Penner of Montreal, Canada and Robert Penner of San Antonio, TX; 5 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren; her sister, Mary Oen of St. Mary, OH and numerous other beloved family members. Eastern Star Service and visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 26, 2012 from 12:00pm to 9:00pm at Sunset Funeral Home, 1701 Austin Highway. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at 2:00pm at Patriot Heights Chapel, 5000 Fawn Meadow, San Antonio, TX 78240. Interment will take place at Barrancas National Cemetery, Naval Air Station, Pensacola, FL on Friday June 29, 2012.
