Dorothy E. Kusmierz Friesenhahn born November 29, 1933 of St. Hedwig earned her wings December 9, 2017. She is preceded in death by her husband of 57 years Nelson P. Friesenhahn, Sr.; parents, Matheus and Theodosia Kusmierz, grandson Edward Friesenhahn, brother Hubert Kusmierz, sister, Anna Doege.
Survived by sons Daniel, Sr. (Samia), Nelson, Jr (Linda), Philip (Betty); 8 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, sister, Margaret (Edmond) Broll, numerous nieces and nephews. After many years of working several places, she retired from Straus Frank. She was a lifetime member of Mesquite Trail Drivers and she loved to bake for her family and friends.
Visitation will be on Thursday, December 14th from 6-8 pm at Sunset Funeral Home. The Rosary and Funeral Service will be on Friday, December 15th at 9:00 am at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at the St. Hedwig Cemetery; 15580 E. Lupon; St. Hedwig, TX 78152.
