Dorothy Marie Jagge

Dorothy Marie Chapman Jagge was reunited with our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ on April 16, 2010, at the age of 90. She was born in Oil City, Louisiana on February 9, 1920 and from that day until her passing, Dorothy touched so many lives. Dorothy was involved in many volunteer organizations including Sultanas De Bexar, Holy Family Guild, St. Margaret Mary’s Guild and the PCCW. Dorothy will always be remembered for her keen sense of fashion & her meals to melt the heart. She was the consummate hostess, but her most memorable and important role was that of family matriarch. She was the wife of the late Clint C. Jagge, loving mother to Teresa Jagge Boeck, Philip Jagge & Pamela Jagge Foley; amazing mother-in-law to Harvey, Lorena & Matt; fun loving grandmother to Walter, Walker, Nicole, Amy, Mikaela, Clarine & Jennifer; gracious great-grandmother to Blake, Cole, Bethany & Caleb; friend & confidante to many. Comfort is found in knowing through our loss God has added one more angel to the Heavens. Viewing will be on Monday, April 19, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 3907 Harry Wurzbach, 78209, with a rosary to follow at 7:30 p.m. Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Pius X Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Hondo City Cemetery, Hondo, TX at 1:30 p.m.
