Wayne met the love of his life Micha Song in Seoul, Korea and they were married in 1963. Micha supported Wayne in all his endeavors in life including the time he spent serving his country over 20 years before retiring from the US. Army. After serving his country he was moved to serve those in need of medical assistance through another 20 years as a Registered Nurse with a BSN before he retired a second time. Wayne spent his retired years spending time with his friends and family whom he loved dearly.
He was preceded in death by, parents, Therese and Troy Faulkner; and son, Virgil Gene Faulkner. Wayne is survived by his beautiful bride of 58 years, Micha Faulkner; sons, Carl Faulkner (Julianna), and Troy Faulkner (Elena); grandchildren, Faith Nelson (Edwin), Jeremiah Faulkner, and Jessica Hollis (Anthony); great-grandchildren, Matthew Nelson, Aliyah Nelson, Meina Nelson, Valor Hollis, and William Hollis.
