Dustin was born in San Antonio to Robert Edwards and Rose Willis-Langford on May 22, 1987. He went to school in San Antonio at Roosevelt High School's magnet program, the Design and Technology Academy. He graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio with a bachelor's in science in Electrical Engineering. He was a gifted engineer whose curiosity and skill shaped both his career and his life. He earned a reputation for excellence, precision, and problem-solving—qualities that defined everything he touched. An exceptionally skilled welder, he created everything from fences to decorative and functional metal art, took great pride in his tools and workspace, and was equally talented in repairing cars, small engines, and household projects. He approached every task with efficiency, integrity, and heart. Those who knew him knew that if he said he could fix it, it would be done right—and done well.
Dustin is preceded in death by Jay and Hortense Edwards (Grandparents) Margaret and Donald Willis (Grandparents), Carol Brietzke (Aunt).
Dustin is survived by his parents, Robert Edwards and Rose Willis-Langford; Renee Edwards (step-mother); Andrea Luke and Colby Edwards (siblings); Clint, Cody and Marshall Davis (step-brothers); and Robert Willis (great-uncle).
