Edith “Edie” E. Gonsauls, age 83, entered into rest on May 6, 2012 in San Antonio, Texas. She was born on March 16, 1929 in Berlin, Germany to Josef Knust and Lisabeth Liegener. She was preceded in death by her husband, CMSgt. Normand Gonsauls in 2004 and her son, Scott A. Gonsauls in 2008.
Survivors include her daughter, Katherine E. Gonsauls; son, Michael R. Gonsauls & wife Marie; 5 grandchildren, Elizabeth Gonsauls, Miriah Christiansen, Kathleen Gonsauls, Carlin Gonsauls and Evan Gonsauls; brother, Manfred Knust; and numerous extended family members and friends.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, May 18, 2012 at Sunset Memorial Park.
