Edward Henry Harvey, 93 of San Antonio died August 28, 2012. He was a Captain and pilot in the U. S. Air Force during WW II. Edward was a pilot at heart all of his life. He was a Texas A&M graduate class of 1939 in Mechanical Engineering. Edward was employed by City Public Service of San Antonio for 32 years.
Services will be held on Friday, September 14, 2012 at Porter Loring Mortuary located at 1101 McCullough Avenue, San Antonio, Texas at 10:30 AM. Services will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery at 12:00 noon.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to University of Texas Transplant Hospital of San Antonio.
Edward was preceded in death by the love of his life Marie N. Harvey. They had been married 66 years.
Survivors are daughters, Cynthia Navarro, Terri Boccella and husband Mark. Grandaughter, Heather Gravois and husband Adam, grandsons,Alex Brown, Mark Boccella and wife Heather ,Brooks Boccella and wife Jami. Edward was very proud of 6 beautiful great grandchildren.
