Edward was an Army Veteran of WWII and retired from Civil Service.
He was preceded by Tillie and Arnold Marquardt and is survived by his beloved wife, Patricia; his daughters, Susan Purvis and Sandra Wagoner; his sister, Sherline Bogisch and her husband Harold; his grandchildren, April and Maggie Purvis; his nieces, Laurie Perryman, Karen Bogisch and Tammy Bogisch; and his nephews, Tim Bogisch and Stephen Bogisch.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to: Covenant Presbyterian Church, 211 Roleto, Castle Hills, Texas 78213, BVA, 125 N. West Steet (3rd floor), Alexandria, VA 22314 and CAM, 110 McCullough, San Antonio, TX 78215.
