Edward E. Millsap

Edward graduated from Southeastern State University in Oklahoma and received his Master's in Education from Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio. He taught 6th grade in the San Antonio School District and later accepted the position of Principal at Stephen A. Austin Elementary and Opportunity School before retiring.

Edward was long time member of Trinity Baptist Church where he taught Sunday School. As long as children were involved, Edward wanted to be there to teach them. He enjoyed coaching Little League baseball, basketball and football. When not coaching or teaching, he spent time fishing. Edward was a friend and a mentor to many and he will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Danny.

Edward is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Darla; son, Randy Millsap and his wife Cathy; grandson, Matthew Massey; brother, Wayne Millsap and his wife Loretta. He will also be missed by nephews, nieces, friends and extended family.
