She was born to Theodore and Elaine Yrizarry on October 20, 1951 in New York, New York and grew up in San Antonio. She graduated from The University of Texas with a major in Mathematics. Elaine worked for many years for Neiman Marcus and loved her job which took her all around the United States internationally and she had fond memories of experiences and people she met. She loved beauty, Paris, poker, Las Vegas, travel, The University of Texas, football, entertaining, and people.
She is survived by loving siblings and a cousin along with very dear friends in St. Louis, San Antonio, Georgia, Maine, and Plano.
