She was born in Eberstadt, Germany, December 30, 1927.
She married George Adkisson on October 7, 1974.
Elfriede was preceded in death by her parents, Wilhelm and Therese Meckel.
She is survived by her husband, George O. Adkisson of San Antonio, TX; daughter, Susan T. Paloczy of San Antonio, TX; brother, Helmut Meckel; sisters, Edith Owczarek and her husband Heinrich and Ilse Schmidt and her husband Rolf; numerous nieces and nephews, all of Germany.
