Mems was a generous, fuerte, and kind person to all that knew her as Mom, Grandma, Life companion, Relative and Friend. Mom started working at a very young age and got her Associates Degree in accounting which allowed her to work and travel with her family for many years. Her life journey took her to Georgia and even down to Mexico but San Antonio was always home. She enjoyed spending time with her family and took great pleasure in the things in life that made you happy. Her other passions were dancing, cooking and playing poker.
Ellie was preceded in death by her parents and two of her beloved brothers: Concepcion “Con” Hernandez and Frank Balderas Jr.
Ellie was blessed to have a loving and caring life companion/compañero: Roberto Salgado and all his family.
Ellie is survived by her daughters: Cynthia Mewbourne & Barbara Becerra and husband Rigo Becerra.
3 loving grandchildren: Monica Gutierrez and husband Juan; Jonathan Becerra and Anissa Becerra.
The family will receive friends for a Memorial Service on Saturday, February 13 at 6:00 P.M at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd, San Antonio, Tx. Mariachis 6-7:00PM, A Funeral Mass and Rosary will be recited at 7:00 P.M.
