Mom enjoyed being around her family and grandchildren. She worked side by side with her husband at their business, "Genes Cleaners" up until her illness no longer allowed her to. Mom will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends.
Mom is survived by her husband, Manuel Lopez; daughters, Luisa, Naomi, Sylvia, and Veronica; sons, Arnold, Hector, Ernest, George and Raul Vega as well as four brothers, two sisters, 26 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
The family would like to thank the professionals at Interim Hospice for all their care and support.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2011 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Porter Loring on McCullough.
