She was a graduate of Lanier High School, Class of 1940. For 34 years, Elida was a loyal and dedicated employee of Texas State Optical.
She is preceded in death by her father, Celestino Navarro Perez and mother, Aurora Martinez Perez; brother and sister-in-law, Eloy and Eudelia Perez.
She is survived by her son, Manuel Figueroa Jr. and wife, Rosalinda; and her daughter, Teresa Cardenas; five grandchildren, Annette, Louis, Christine, Yvonne and Yvette; nine great grandchildren; nieces: Irene, Nancy and Martha; as well as a loving extended family.
