Elizabeth Ann Gantt Ackerman, died May 31, 2001, in a San Antonio hospital after a long illness. She lived most of her life Corpus Christi and retired from S.W. Bell Telephone Company with 32 years of service. She was a member of the Corpus Christi First United Methodist Church, Telephone Pioneers of America and the Bluebonnet Bells R.V. Club. Survivors include her husband, Fred Ackerman, Gillett, TX; 2 daughters; 1 son; eight grandchildren;5 stepchildren and 8 stepgrandchildren.
