Graduate of Incarnate Word College, she studied, then taught cytotechnology, and discovered a cancer cell that advanced early cancer detection.
She volunteered within her church and community, and lived her Catholic Faith every day with a positive attitude and demeanor.
She told fascinating stories about her adventures. Notable highlights include that she was at Parkland Memorial Hospital in 1963 when President Kennedy was brought in, and then in the Dallas basement when Oswald met his fate. She also told a story about caring for President Truman. She was an avid birder and described numerous birding trips around the world, including her trip to Africa in November 2013.
She is survived by sisters, Nancy Montelepre, Cecile Brashear, Dana LeSueur, and Patricia Bender and brother, Anthony Ludolph, numerous nieces, nephews, great, and great-great nieces/nephews, and dear friends around the world.
Rosary, Mass and reception starting at 5:30 on September 11, 2015 at St. Pius X Catholic Church.
