Elizabeth “Liz” Eileen Schneider, 52, of San Antonio, Texas, passed away on February 12, 2025, after a long hard battle with Breast Cancer. Liz was born on August 28, 1972, to Jon and Venila Schneider in Austin Texas. After Liz graduated from Stephen F. Austin in 1990, she went on to study being a travel agent and working in that field for a few years until she left Austin.
In 1997, she moved to San Antonio and spent her time BOWLING in multiple leagues, tournaments and traveling with her bowling family. She also enjoyed her family time at the lake, playing games, puzzles and celebrating special days with them.
After leaving Austin she found her place at Guido Lumber company. She started her job as a receptionist on February 9, 1999, kick starting a 26-year career. She dedicated herself to the growth of Guido during this time. She also assisted in the construction side as project coordinator. She finished her career as Credit Manager of the accounting department.
During Liz’s life journey she was involved in so many things that shaped her into the sassy, dedicated, hardworking, athletic, loving strong warrior woman we all have grown to love. She was in Girl Scouts, Naval Sea Cadets at Camp Mabry, volleyball, basketball, softball, bowling and so much more. She loved kids and being the favorite Aunt/Auntie for so many and enjoyed her time with all of them. They always put a smile on her face.
Liz is preceded in death by father, Jon Schneider. She is survived by mother, Venila E. Schneider; siblings, Jon A. Schneider, Christiane Schneider, Theodore E. and Michelle Schneider, Valerie C. and Richard C. Macklin; honorary sister, Janette Smith; nieces and nephews, Jon “Kenny” Schneider, Le Schneider, Ashten Macklin, Colton Macklin, Jordan Schneider, Trevor Schneider, Jarred Schneider, Timothy Rodriguez, Jacob Sharer, Lukas Sharer, Micheala Cunningham; and great nephew, Elijah Cain.
Services will be held on Friday, February 21, 2025, beginning at 6:00pm at Porter Loring Mortuary North, 2102 North Loop 1604 East, San Antonio, Texas 78232. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m, and will continue after the service, if needed.

Following the service all flower arrangements will be placed on her father’s grave in Austin, Texas, where Liz will also be laid to rest.
