She was one of nine children born to Louis and Gladys Thompson.
Jane was preceded in death by her parents, her husband William, 8 sisters and brothers, and daughter, Faye DeAngelo and son, Larry Thornhill.
She is survived by daughters Theresa (Jeff) Fraser and Linda Magee, all of San Antonio, nine grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
A private family celebration of life will be held in the coming weeks. A private burial of her ashes will take place a later date.
The family would like to thank Alamo Hospice staff who took care of Jane in her final days.
