Ellanore Barnes Sledge

She died on July 19, 2008, and is survived by her children, Suzy Sledge, Scott Sledge, John and Deanna Sledge, and Linda Sledge; her grandchildren, Alexandra O'Connell, Forrest and Claire Sledge, Meagan and Gavin Sledge, and Cate Sledge; her sister, Agnes Harwood; nieces and nephews, Diane and Bill Dwyer, Charles and Judy Quereau, Tobin Quereau, Kent Quereau, Gail Harwood, Catherine and Joe Taylor, Anne and Peter Bourne, Sherri and Paul Pulliam, Brad and Chrissy Sledge, Sally Sledge and Steve Sledge.

Her parents, Ella and Raymond Barnes; sister, Catherine Quereau Folbre, and brother, Warren Colvert, preceded her in death. We remember her quiet strength, bright smile, unconditional love, and constant faith.

We miss her. St. Luke's Episcopal Church was her refuge and source of strength.

A reception will immediately follow the memorial service at St. Luke's Episcopal Church.
