Eloisa Balderas entered into the loving arms of our Lord on January 15, 2025 at the age of 93. She was born in Isabella County, Michigan on November 11, 1931 to parents, Maria Martinez and Victor Balderas.
Eloisa lived a life dedicated to her family, her passions, and the simple joys that made her days bright. She had a talent for sewing, baking, and arts and crafts, especially crocheting, which brought beauty and warmth into the lives of those around her. Her green thumb was evident in the vibrant plants she nurtured, creating gardens that reflected her gentle and caring spirit. She also found joy in life’s simple pleasures, especially indulging in her favorite treat—banana splits. Eloisa lived a life grounded in her strong faith. Her past time would be spent reading daily devotionals and inspirational/scripture-themed word search finding strength in God’s word.
Her greatest joy, however, was her family. Family was the heart of Eloisa’s life. Eloisa lovingly helped raise two little girls at a young age that became sisters. She also devoted herself to lovingly caring for her parents throughout their lives. Her love for her daughter and granddaughter was boundless, forming a bond that was as deep as it was unbreakable. They were always by each other’s side, sharing countless cherished moments that brought immeasurable joy to her life. She was a constant source of support and care, always putting the needs of her loved ones first and lending a helping hand wherever it was needed.
She will be reunited in heaven with her parents, Victor Balderas, Juanita Balderas, and Maria Martinez; brother, Adolfo Balderas; sister, Estella Felan; nephew, Manuel Salas; niece, Leticia Rivas; and granddaughter, Hannah Victoria Garza.
Eloisa’s memory will forever live in her daughter, Linda Frances Garza (Jesse); granddaughter, Isabella Grace Garza; siblings, Paul Balderas (Eliamar), Mary Mickie Balderas, and Guadalupe “Lupita” Perez (Tony). Her memory will also be remembered by all her nieces, nephews, and numerous extended family and friends.
