Elsie was a native San Antonian, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She had joy in her association with her church where she was a life-long member.
She is survived by her daughter, Carol Zittle and husband, Leonard, of San Antonio; her son, Troy Donald Griffin and wife, Annemarie, Of Mililani, Hawaii; two granddaughters, Stacey Zittle Chapa and husband, Jeff, and Kimberly Zittle Bila and husband, Justin; two grandsons, Sven Troy Griffin and Carsten Leif Griffin. Three great-grandchildren survive her also; they are Anthony Chapa, Rebeccah Elise Chapa and Caitlin Elizabeth Bila.
