Elvira (Bebe) Pineda Buenteo entered the loving arms of Our Lord on March 24, 2025 at the blessed age of 89. Elvira was born in San Antonio Texas on March 6, 1936 to Maria Hernandez Pineda and Jose Cornelli Pineda.
Elvira dedicated her life to her children, husband, and family. She was caring and loving to all and was selfless. Elvira always had a kind word and treated others with grace and respect. During Elvira's early years; she enjoyed cooking large meals and helping her sister and mother make holiday tamales and would make Capirotada during Lenten season. She also enjoyed playing Mexican bingo, working on crossword puzzles and enjoyed hearing and watching news about President Trump.
Elvira; the youngest of eight siblings, will be reunited in heaven with her parents, sister, brothers and five half-siblings on her father's side.
Elvira's memory will be forever lived on by her husband; Raymond Gonzalez Buenteo, six children: Irene Santoy(Joe), Erma Navarro (Daniel), Dora Nuerminger (Timothy), Arthur Buenteo (Myrna), Eva Saldana, and Elvira Gonzales (Armando),ten grandchildren, and twenty-three great grandchildren.
A visitation for Elvira will be held Tuesday, April 15, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Road, San Antonio, TX 78237. A holy rosary will occur Tuesday, April 15, 2025 starting at 6:00 PM. A mass of the resurrection will occur Wednesday, April 16, 2025 starting at 11:30 AM at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 804 Ruiz St, San Antonio, TX 78207 with a committal service to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209.
