Elvira Garcia, born on November 30, 1934, in Elsa, Texas was called home to be with the Lord, on October 13, 2017 in San Antonio, Texas, at the age of 82. She was preceded in death by her grandson Ezra Joseph Garcia and her parents Carlota and Benito Gonzales. Elvira was a very loving wife, mother and grandmother, she was very much loved and will be greatly missed. She is survived by her loving husband, of 56 years of marriage, Clementino Garcia, her beloved children; Steven Garcia (Lauren), Joe Garcia (Catherine), Cynthia Garcia-Fletcher (Kim), grandchildren; Candace Saldana, Benjamin Garcia, Andrew Garcia and Zoe Garcia.
A visitation will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at Sunset Funeral Home, 1701 Austin Highway with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm that same evening. A Funeral Mass will be held at 9:00 am on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Interment to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
