Elvira B. Nistal

January 26, 1926-January 29, 2015

Elvira Nistal, age 89, of San Antonio, died Thursday, January 29, 2015. Elvira was a caring and devoted wife and mother. While strict, her love to ensure that everyone around her was cared for and tended to was evident by her loving hands and heart. Always the supporter and encourager, Elvira was a cultured lady and saw to it that the children's education included an appreciation for the arts, litature and music. She and Louis were hand in hand with their love for each other and to jointly see to it that their family had the best exposure and experiences to life.

She is preceded in death by her father, Luis Romo; mother, Rosa Morla; brother, Luis Romo; sisters, Rosita and Maria Romo; her beloved husband Louis E. Nistal.

She is survived by her sons, Luis F. Nistal and Felipe Nistal; daughters, Jimena Nistal-Hastings (Blake), and Fernanda Nistal; grandchildren, Adriana Greco, Nicholas Greco and Sebastian Hastings; sister-in-law, Adriana Avalone; nephews and nieces, Jose Luis Romo and Cecilia Maldonado, Rose Ann, Stephen, Robert and Ramona Avalone.
