When I first Emmy, she was a ball of joy. She helped me become a better supervisor while I worked at Home Depot. She was always talking to me about anything and everything. I loved talking to her. She enjoyed my tattoo when I first got it. It was never a dull moment around her. I would always listen to her stories about the crazy customers that would try and steal. She will be missed and I wish I could of seen her one last time

Emily was a wonderful young woman, and a strong one at that she knew what she wanted and went for it. Danny and Mimi were blessed to have her and she was blessed to have them. For me this is not a goodbye but a see you later and as long as we have her in our hearts she’ll always be present. Love you Emily and don’t have too much fun up there 👆 🙏🏼😘❤️

I remember you as a young prima with hopeful eyes and a beautiful smile! Now knowing your love for music touches my heart in an extra special way as you know it is a healing balm for humanity. Though much time has passed, I know you touched many lives and they will forever be blessed by that sweet joy you possess and the gifts you share.  Now you are rejoicing with Father in Heaven and guiding us further into our time here. Love you prima, Ruby❤️

Dear Niece,  I still remember your sweet smile when we first met you ; and the trip we took to Corpus , on the beach and how excited you were.   Most recently, how helpful you were when your mom and I needed your help for Grandma's memorial.  Your friends are correct, you were always ready to help and jumped in.  Gone too soon, dear niece.   We are sad to lose you too soon.  Rest in peace , sweet soul.  Our condolences to Mimi and Danny...love, Tia Alma and Uncle Ira and Cousin Sarah , Dan and family .

Most of memories with Emily are related to music, as would be expected, but I do have one memory that is special and stands out as emblematic of a core part of her personality. Once, as Emily and I were walking by the local little Caesar’s pizza, and I step slightly out of my way to stomp on a cockroach. No particular reason why: I saw it, it was nearby, and I stomped on it. Emily had scolded me and asked me what the roach did to me to deserve that. I tried responding, but didn’t really have a good answer. I had not really thought about it before, but since then I’ve always considered my relationship with other beings before I act carelessly. In fact, I’ve even asked my kids to be respectful as they observe roly polys today! (The kids at daycare love stomping on  them ). The story speaks to what I recall of Emily as the core of her personality; a girl that was always sweet with her intentions, but also protective when she needed to be. In fact, even though she grew up, as well did, and took on positions in life that required some toughness, I still felt that sweet person oozing through in our last interactions. I love and will miss you, Emily!

Emmy, driving with you listening to music and grabbing tacos before tattoos had me so excited. I loved the joy you got just even planning the trip. You lit me up every chance we got together, there aren’t many people like you in this world who are just kind at heart. I will always miss you and love you. 
You changed me so much in our short time being friends but the memories will never leave me.

My sincere condolences to Emmy's family and friends. Emmy was a pleasure to work with and her smile infectious. I will miss seeing her walking around with one of her energy drinks or her little water flavoring packets, that she was always trying to share with others.  I will miss her fur baby stories; she always was expressing the love she had for her babies. Let's not forget to mention the fact that Emmy did her LP job really well! We loved seeing her in action. Heaven has gained one beautiful ANGEL with an awesome smile! She will forever live in our memories. LORD, please hold Emmy's family and friends in your healing hands so that in time their broken hearts mend with the many memories they were able to share with such a wonderful, caring person. To her family, your EMMY lives through YOU the LOVE she had for you lives on! When you feel the warmth of the sunlight hitting upon you that is her kiss and loving arms surrounding you with her LOVE.

On the day of the picture we vowed to love each other till death do us part. Although things didn't go as planned and we didn't end our marriage on the best of terms, u were the love of my life. My heart aches knowing I wasn't able to save u as I had done n the past, but may u rest in peace with champion.

I’m so sorry to hear you are gone, Emmy. We were diabetes buddies and groaned together about the horrible disease. You made me laugh constantly and I loved to see you pop around the corner at the depot. You cared for and about me during my pregnancy even though we had just met. You are a wonderful soul. I’m so sorry for the loss your family is feeling, I can only imagine. I love you Emmy.

My condolences to the family. 

I worked with Emmy at Home Depot before I got transferred to San  Antonio. I remember so many crazy memories how we joked around. One thing I will remember is she always brought me a snickers bar cuz she said I acted like Betty white in the snickers commercials. I’m going to miss her smile and her laugh. Emmy you will be missed, remembered, but never forgotten.

EmILY (because you knew I refused to say Emmy), you were one of my first best friends.  There are few childhood memories without you there.  We vacationed together, danced together, told each other secrets, gave advice, sang to spice girls, and most importantly we were there for each other.  We couldn’t be more opposite of one another and yet that’s what made us so perfect for one another.   I remember back Friday shopping, eating whataburger and torturing you by blasting Rihanna in the car.  I remember driving around Steiner Ranch in your mustang getting tea and snacks from the wag-a-bag. I loved when you tried to get my brother and I to get into Twilight.  You stood in my wedding and were such a good sport about getting all dolled up.  I love you so big cuz, and I’ll miss you so incredibly much.  I love you, and I thank God he brought you into our lives.

This was the very first time I met Emmy and Robert. As you can see the jokester she was 
when she took this picture of her and Robert (she cut his head off) when I left my phone in my office unattended.  I didn't find it until I was home later, but little did I know the friendship we would later share and how silly she could be to make you laugh and smile.

There are not enough words in the world to express how much Emmy will be missed.  I’m still in shock and my heart feels so heavy. This is a pain that will linger for the rest of my life. Emmy you were such a kind and generous person. Always ready to help anyone with anything. You’ve helped me through some tough moments and I will forever cherish the support and guidance you gave me. Emmy I will miss you so much. Please watch over everyone. Love you always

A beautiful soul is never forgotten, remembering you with love. I wish I would have met you sooner, glad we got to know each other and share happy moments together. Until we meet again my beautiful friend. Miss you Emmy.

She was one who witnessed my wedding, and absolutely will never forget it. She was a wonderful, heartful and very uplifting person. I have known her for years, and over the years there were a lot of great memories. She will be greatly missed.

Emmy you were such an Amazing friend/work wifey. You were my Best friend. My heart hurts so bad . I miss you so much. Work is not the same anymore  .You would Always come in to work and stop at the front just to say good morning and show me that big ol smile of yours. You were always there trying to cheer me up . I Remember when I came in to work and you came up to me and gave me my Favorite Roses for my Birthday I will never forget that day. You were such a loving caring person wifey. All the people that knew you . Knew you were such an Amazing person/friend ..I'm gonna miss our lunch and Dinner dates we had at work . I can still vividly remember the day we met Little Emily Rose. Beautiful, sweet , shy little girl that filled Dan and Mimi’s hearts so quickly. Smile so big that you could  not help to smile back. Emily will be greatly missed by all the family. Deepest condolences and sympathies to all she touched.

Fiona, was our dog Pepper's playmate. Of course Pepper was territorial.
As of last week Fiona became our permanent mascota/pet.
Amazingly, Pepper has accepted her.
