Emma Mendoza Martinez born on April 16, 1939 in Seguin, TX went to be with the Lord on December 23, 2011 at the age of 72. She is preceded in death by; son, Felix Martinez, step sister Alice Mendiola and brother,Gilberto Mendoza. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Jesse and Hope Valdez; grandchildren, Andrea, Priscilla, Jesse, Jr., Ruben, Emma, Rosie, and Mark; 11 great grandchildren; sister, Chana Rodriguez; step brothers, Juan Mendoza, Celestino Mendoza, and Ricardo Mendoza; he is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. Monday, December 26, 2011 at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. followed by a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. A procession will depart from the funeral home at 10:30a.m.for an 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 2114 W. Commerce St., San Antonio, TX 78207. Interment will follow in San Fernando Cemetery No.2 services under the direction of Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, San Antonio, TX.
